Aromas and flavors that tell centuries of history
The Apulian identity is a varied mix of elements and local food is, without a doubt, one of the most significant for learning the history of the Region. A great way to start is therefore to explore the culinary history through a guided tour and a workshop on how to prepare the most famous Italian cheese, loved and used in cuisines all over the world: mozzarella. All in a splendid historic farmhouse in the Itria Valley.
How is the experience structured?
In a splendid historic farmhouse in the Itria Valley, a portrait of the typical habits and customs of Puglia, you will be able to take part in a real Masterclass on dairy products.
The program includes an introduction with a guided tour of the farm where you can observe and learn the stages of production of mozzarella and fresh cheeses typical of the region. Afterwards you can try your hand at a practical workshop in which you will put into practice the notions learned by giving shape to your first mozzarella.
The experience, lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes, is open to everyone, even children.
It is possible to book the service at the time of booking or subsequently by contacting our Villa Expert.
If you wish to avoid driving, we will be happy to arrange a pick-up from your villa for a little extra.
Who is it aimed at?
The experience is suitable for everyone: it amuses, entertains and entices adults and children, families and groups of friends, Italian and foreign tourists.
